I am excited to take the plunge into the world of Endurance riding! I have two Tennessee Walking Horse mares that I will be training for the 25 LD rides. My first mare is Lady. She is 21yrs old and has been my main riding horse for about 10 years. My second mare is Beauty. She is my baby, 4yrs old, and I have just started her under saddle. I have some health issues that make this endeavor a challenge and hope I am up to accomplishing my goals. I feel like I have found my home and endurance and am excited for my fist ride. It means that much more to me that I can compete at a sport with my limitations and am hopeful that I’ll have many years ahead riding my horses.
